Creating a Brand Experience - As It Should Be

The Vision: Gigs ... as it should be.
Like many spirits brands, Russian Standard Vodka was looking for a credible and authentic alliance with music and film. We were tasked to create a unique and unrivalled brand experience to reward existing consumers and to attract new drinkers to the brand. We then created a coreteam of PR, media and activation agencies to make it happen. 
The 'Russian Standard Originals' programme provided consumers with access to a world of exclusive, free original music and iconic film events that featured with free tickets, VIP access, behind-the-scenes footage and live content, exclusive interviews, private film screenings and competitions. These were all accessed via a privilege card, available on promotional bottles and at Russian Standard sampling events.
The Reality: The programme was launched in May 2010 with curated gigs in London and Edinburgh featuring bands such as The Noisettes and Plan B. The shows were then broadcast on C4. In August the first Russian Standard Vodka Originals Film Festival, in collaboration with Empire Magazine, saw iconic films playing in luxury cinemas right across the country.
